I chose this topic because of  my experience in high school. There was one of my friend who rarely come to school. He doesn't match to our class and become social withdrawal. I sometimes took him outside to play catch ball or to have a lunch. However, he finally quit school. And became like an Hikikomori. Now I have no contact to him. I consider that I could do something in that situation. So this social topic would be the something special for me. I am glad to have conducted and have done research for this topic and got information. Also, I'm curious about other social issues. Not only researching my topic but also viewing classmate's blog can be helpful to gain academic knowledge.

    Your blog is more readable now because you have introduced your personal experience as a factor in your choice of theme. I myself have experienced many cases in which my friends, once they have stopped attending school, have stopped going to school. I think people around them needed to understand the negative emotions that were in their hearts before they stopped going to school.
    In addition, I strongly agree with the statement that reading class blogs helps us to gain academic knowledge. Through this activity, I feel that reading many of my classmates' blogs has helped me to become aware of various social issues and to gain a broader perspective.(Chiharu)

    Thank you for researching such an important issue. Your blog helped me realize that hikikomori is not just a personal problem but also a social and structural issue that needs long-term attention. Through my own research, I learned how isolation can be influenced by school culture, peer pressure, or lack of proper support systems in both families and institutions. I’d like to suggest that you also explore how government policy or community programs can prevent long-term isolation more effectively. For example, are there local NPOs already working with families or school counselors? Are there case studies from other countries that have successfully reintegrated socially withdrawn people into society? These additional perspectives could give more practical and applicable insights for developing real-world solutions.

Hikikomori is people who staying at home and not participating in society for more than 6 months.  Some people think that this is not so important issue, however, it is related to social system deeply.  Why is Hikikomori a problem? Hikikomori have many problem. First, there is Hikikomori's own mental health issue. Many people become less sleep, anthropophobia（対人恐怖症）and antidepressant symptoms（抗うつ症状）. Second, Hikikomori lose opportunities for employment and social connections. It is a social issue and affecting families and communities. Are there Hikikomori outside of japan? Yes. So, it maybe biased by students opinions. However, almost all respondents seemed honest judging from their answers. Most of their answers include their own perspective based on their experiences.  2 Respondent states As we mentioned before, most of respondents are teenager, except 30% who are over 20. Also, we got answers from a parent and from two part-timers while there are large number of students.  ３Result of basic questions First of all, we asked if they have ever felt anxiety in their school life.
